What we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone, profile photo, role (buyer, owner, agent).
- Listing data — anything you publish: address, photos, price, descriptions.
- Activity — searches, saved listings, messages, applications, tour bookings.
- Device & usage — IP address, browser, pages viewed, referrers.
- Payment — handled by our payment processor; we never store full card numbers.
Why we use it
- To run the platform — show listings, deliver messages, process applications.
- To personalize search results and AI recommendations.
- To detect fraud, spam and abuse.
- To send you transactional emails (and marketing emails you opted in to).
- To improve Domovo through aggregated analytics.
Who can see your data
Other users only see what you choose to publish. Your contact details are kept private until you reply to a message or share them. We use vetted processors (hosting, email, analytics, payments) under data-processing agreements; we never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 12 months after closure (for legal and accounting reasons). Anonymous analytics may be kept longer.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
